Enhancement measures on Technology Voucher Programme (TVP) Funding:
- Effective from 14 August 2020, the restriction pertaining to related entities for the TVP has released. Related entities, defined as enterprises/ organisations set up as different legal entities but having the same individual(s) holding 30% or more ownership in each of the enterprises/organisations, are no longer treated as one single entity for the purpose of calculating the cumulative funding amount under the TVP.
- Lists of technology service providers and audit service providers selected in approved TVP applications has published on the ITF website for reference. Techland was listed in the technology service providers list
- From 9:00 am on 31 August 2020, enterprises may submit a 2nd application in which the categories of the IT solutions must be different from the approved categories in the 1st application. They may submit a 2nd application after they have replied to the Secretariat on the result of the 1st application. The assessment criteria of the Programme remain unchanged. Each enterprise may receive aggregate funding of up to $300,000
- The funding period for subscription-based IT solutions will be extended from 6 months to 12 months. This arrangement is also applicable to applications approved earlier
- The restriction that related entities being regarded as one single entity are not allowed to submit applications will be lifted
- Social enterprises with certifications issued by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service for the Distance Business Programme will also be eligible
